Grow a Little.
Share a Little.
Make someone’s day.
Have a few tomatoes to spare? Offer a neighbor a taste. Admiring the plums on their tree? It’s all right to ask politely whether they have a few to share. A little conversation can be the beginning.
A little sharing starts with a hello.
Something to offer?
“Our tomatoes are ripening. Would you enjoy a few?”
Something you’d love to try?
“Your plums look lovely. If you have any to spare, may I try a couple?”
Ask kindly, leave room for a no, and offer a sincere thank-you. You don’t need a garden to take part.
A little from your backyard can mean so much.
Sometimes a taste stays with us for years—a tomato from someone’s garden, a strawberry picked together, a lemon offered by a neighbor.
What’s something homegrown you still remember tasting—and who grew it? I’d love to hear. A few words are plenty.
